About Specialised Diver Training Close Protection
As part of your 7 days basic training we will take you through:
• Open water diving (SCUBA) world-recognised certification BSAC, CMS, PADI (By qualified Diving Instructor) •
Sea bed searches • Simple underwater work • Protecting the vessel • Security when moored • Dangerous marine
life • Survival at sea • Travel security and personal security abroad
We also teach on the Diving for Close Protection course the following and that is what makes Mercury Associates unique:
• Maritime security • Threat analysis and risk resolution • Surveillance • Piracy tactics • Anti hijacking skills •
Careers advice with Mercury Associates in professional HSE Diving (UK)
This course is not held in the United Kingdom and a passport is essential.
What will you get?
The specialised Diver Training Close Protection course is designed to professionally prepare students for
employment in the Maritime Close Protection role. The course takes place at a Dive Academy set in the Red Sea.
The course will cover both theory-based classroom work and practical in-water exercises.
- On completion of the Diver Close Protection course a relevant world-recognised diving qualification will be received
- A Diploma from Mercury Associates will be issued in Diving Close Protection and Maritime Operations
